It is indicated for the treatment and control of a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, mange mites, lice, sheep lice, and fly larvae. In cattle, it is effective against Ostertagia spp., Cooperia spp., Haemonchus spp., Dictyocaulus viviparus, Psoroptes bovis y Hypoderma spp.In sheep, it acts against Nematodirus spp., Teladorsagia spp. y Oestrus ovisIn swine, it combats ascaris suum, Strongyloides ransomi, Sarcopts scabiei y Haematopinus suis.
Administration mode
The route of administration is by injection, subcutaneously in cattle and sheep, and intramuscularly in swine. The recommended dose is 200 µg of doramectin per kg of body weight, which is equivalent to 1 ml per 50 kg of weight.
Wait time
Withdrawal periods vary depending on the species: in cattle, 35 days for meat and not for use in lactating animals; in sheep, 70 days for meat; and in pigs, 28 days. It is essential to respect these timeframes to guarantee the safety of animal products.
Cautions and warnings
