Description of the product:

MIRATAZ is a transdermal ointment for veterinary use containing mirtazapine 20 mg/g , indicated to stimulate appetite and promote weight gain in cats suffering from loss of body mass due to chronic diseases such as kidney failure, neoplasms or gastrointestinal diseases.

Its topical ointment format allows for easy application to the inside of the ear, avoiding the discomfort of oral administration. Each 0,1 g dose provides 2 mg of mirtazapine , with clinically proven effects in just 14 days.

Composition (per 0,1 g dose):

• Mirtazapine (hemihydrate): 2 mg

• Butylhydroxytoluene (E 321): 0,01 mg

Indications of use:

• Cats: To promote weight gain in animals with anorexia, hyporexia or weight loss resulting from chronic pathologies.

Method of administration:

• Transdermal (topical) use.

• Apply once a day for 14 days to the inner surface of the ear.

• Alternate between left and right ear.

• Recommended dose: 0,1 g per day (3,8 cm of ointment, equivalent to 2 mg of mirtazapine).
