How to use Omniotic?
Apply directly into the ear canal until the massage produces a characteristic sound. In case that sound is not heard during the massage, apply a little more. Gently massage the base of the ear for a few seconds to obtain
a good diffusion of the product. It can be used on dogs, cats and rabbits of any age.
When should Omniotic be used?
Routine situations:
- Preventive routine cleaning – apply weekly or biweekly to obtain perfect hygiene of the ear canal
- Unpleasant odor – apply daily for 8 days, then apply every 2 or 3 days until the situation is normalized
- Other situations – always after bathing, always after extracting hair from the ear and before applying an ear treatment.
Therapeutic situations:
wax buildup
It should be used daily until no earwax appears on the
cleanings, then going on to intercalate 3 days between cleanings.
When wax no longer appears in the cleanings, pass at intervals of one
week and later than 2 weeks. This bimonthly interval will be
maintained in fully controlled cases, but with a predisposition
towards the accumulation of wax.
External otitis
In addition to removing the wax, it eliminates or weakens many of the agents
causes (bacteria, fungi or mites) thus enhancing the effect of the
treatment. As it contains EDTA it allows mixing with antibiotics
or antifungals without neutralizing them with the acids present in other
cleaning fluids.
