40 mg/ml suspension for injection

2. QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE COMPOSITION
Each ml contains:
Active substance:

Methylprednisolone acetate (equivalent to 36 mg methylprednisolone) 40,0 mg

Excipients:

Myristyl-gamma-picolinium chloride Other excipients, qs 0,2 mg

4. CLINICAL DATA
4.1 Target species
Horses not intended for human consumption, dogs and cats.
4.2 Indications for use, specifying the target species
Dogs: symptomatic treatment of allergic reactions, arthritis, osteoarthritis and polyarthritis.
Cats: symptomatic treatment of allergic reactions
Horses: symptomatic treatment of allergic reactions, arthritis, osteoarthritis, bursitis and tendinitis.

4.4 Special warnings for each target species
Do not administer to equines whose meat or milk is intended for human consumption.
The veterinarian must evaluate each case individually and determine the treatment program
appropriate. When treatment must be withdrawn after prolonged and intensive therapy, the
dose will be gradually reduced.

4.7 Use during pregnancy, lactation or lay
Do not administer the drug during pregnancy. Fetal malformations have been observed
in laboratory animals due to drug administration at the beginning of pregnancy.
Administration in the last third of pregnancy may cause premature or
abortions.

Intramuscular route: 1-2 mg of methylprednisolone acetate/kg of weight

4.10 Overdose (symptoms, emergency procedures, antidotes), if necessary
In case of overdose, symptoms of hypokalaemia may appear, in which case
