Ivermectin 10 mg.
Pharmacological properties
Ivermectin is a derivative of the avermectin family, highly active, broad-spectrum antiparasitic agents.
Ivermectin causes the blocking of the transmission of nerve impulses, and stimulates the release of GABA at the level of presynaptic nerve endings (in nematodes) or at the level of neuromuscular junctions (in arthropods), inducing paralysis and death of these parasites.
Indications and target species
Bovidae: For the treatment and control of:
– Gastrointestinal roundworms (adults and L4): ostertagia spp. (including inhibited forms of ostertagia ostertagi), Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus spp., cooperation spp., Nematodirus spp. (adult).
– Lungworms (adults and L4): Dictyocaulus viviparus.
– Pimples (parasitic stages): Hypoderma spp.
– Sucking lice: Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus.
- Mites: Psoroptes communis there. bovis, Sarcoptes scabiei there. bovis.
Contraindications
• Do not administer intramuscularly or intravenously.
• Do not administer in case of known hypersensitivity to the active principle.

• A rare incidence of inflammatory reactions at the injection site that resolve without treatment has been observed.
• In very rare cases: transient pain. In some cases: temporary alteration of the general state.
Route of administration
subcutaneous.
Posology
1 ml of Virbamec Injectable Solution for Cattle per 50 kg of live weight, that is, 0,2 mg of ivermectin per kg of live weight.
• A single subcutaneous injection.
Wait time
Meat: 42 days.
• Do not administer to animals that produce milk for human consumption.
• Do not administer to non-lactating dairy cows, including pregnant cows within 60 days prior to calving.
